Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Data Analyst to support major, multi-billion-dollar energy projects. You will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure high-quality data management, reporting, and smart tool integration across all project
phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Data, or related field
- Prior experience in oil & gas or similar large-scale industrial projects
- Strong experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development (Power BI preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
- Experience with engineering data systems and smart tools is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced project environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel internationally
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track engineering progress, KPIs, equipment data, and quality metrics
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple engineering data sources
- Provide insights on project trends, risks, and performance indicators to support decision-making
- Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting standards, workflows, and documentation
- Collaborate with digital teams to enhance data collection and analytics solutions
- Support engineering teams and contractors in the use of smart engineering tools
- Manage and validate equipment tag data extracted from engineering systems and documentation
- Monitor data quality, consistency, and completeness across disciplines and project packages
- Review contractor deliverables for compliance with digital and smart tool requirements
- Develop business intelligence solutions to track deliverables and performance
- Provide training and technical support on engineering tools and systems
- Coordinate with vendors on tool enhancements, troubleshooting, and updates
- Support the development of technical standards, procedures, and best practices
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in data management and engineering workflows
- Contribute to digitalisation initiatives and continuous improvement programs
- Promote consistency and efficiency across engineering reporting and processes
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to align on data and reporting requirements
- Support stakeholders with dashboards, analytics tools, and engineering data queries
- Participate in workshops, reviews, audits, and training sessions
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across multidisciplinary and international teams
- Large-scale offshore and onshore developments including new builds, upgrades, and integration works
- Multiple EPC projects executed in parallel across international locations
- Complex stakeholder environment with extensive contractor and vendor interaction
