Orion Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Contract Engineer – Plant Operations on behalf of our international energy client.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts & Procurement professional to take ownership of high-value maintenance and operations contracts, supporting major international oil & gas assets.

Orion Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Contract Engineer – Plant Operations on behalf of our international energy client.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts & Procurement professional to take ownership of high-value maintenance and operations contracts, supporting major international oil & gas assets.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing procurement and contracting strategies.
- Managing complex tendering and commercial bid evaluations.
- Leading contract negotiations and Recommendation to Award (RTA) processes.
- Drafting and administering technical service contracts.
- Supporting contractor performance management and contract renewals.
- Working closely with operational stakeholders to ensure commercial and contractual success.
- 10+ years' Contracts & Procurement experience.
- Strong background in Plant Maintenance & Operations contracts.
- Oil & Gas or Energy industry experience.
- Extensive tendering, contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
- International project exposure.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
