Our client, an international oil & gas operating company, require a Senior Contracts Engineer to join their team in Brunei on a long term contract basis.

Role activities:

* Regular meetings with DUET and preparing and issuing minutes of meeting; i.e. monthly duet meeting.

* Liaise and coordinate the C&P process with HQ and relevant entities to ensure timely execution of contracts.

* Ensure that all insurance issues of company assets and personnel are covered in the contracts

* Ensure the update of all his/her subjects in all required reporting and any existing contract management tool

* Manage performance by implementing and monitoring local KPIs

* Keep informed of best practices in contracts procedures in other entities and affiliates for improvement of contracts practices in his/her affiliate

* Use frame agreements (FALTC from Headquarters) available

* Prepare all necessary documents and perform the necessary work required to execute the contract in accordance with the standard process, including Bidders list and strategy , Call for tender, negotiation of contractual exceptions, bid evaluation , recommendation to award until the final execution of the contracts. Use C&P tools (SAP, e-sourcing, etc.) that are available.

The job holder executes the following contracts activities

* Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market

* Ensure the validation of the contracts strategy by:

o Arranging and attending Contracts Committee Meetings

o Pre-qualifying bidders

o Defining target prices

o Defining criteria for evaluation

* Manage the CFT process :

Required skills and experience:

Academic Qualifications: Degree in relevant discipline

Professional Experiences: Strong experience in contracts for oil and gas industry

Desirable: Experience within Drilling, Wells and associated services
