About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Condition Monitoring Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise in the condition monitoring and reliability of rotating equipment across multiple operational assets. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient machinery operation through advanced diagnostics, failure analysis, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance strategies.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, supporting operational excellence, asset integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Prior experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in rotating equipment condition monitoring and machinery diagnostics.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of vibration analysis, machinery diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering principles.
  • Experience with condition monitoring systems and software including Bently Nevada System 1, 3500 Series Monitoring Systems, ADRE, and Emerson AMS Suite.
  • Familiarity with rotor balancing, instrumentation systems, machinery protection systems, and field troubleshooting activities.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop practical, risk-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendations for complex rotating equipment failures and machinery performance issues.
  • Conduct detailed investigations into equipment reliability concerns and identify failure modes, root causes, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure rotating machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably through advanced condition monitoring techniques.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and support for condition monitoring systems, including hardware and software platforms such as Bently Nevada 3500 systems, System 1, ADRE 408, and Emerson AMS Suite.
  • Execute field activities including rotor trim balancing, instrumentation installation, system commissioning, and hardware upgrades.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including Reliability, Rotating Equipment, Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical, Maintenance, Operations, and Projects.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Support condition monitoring analysts and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery and best-practice implementation.
  • Participate in and support large-scale multidisciplinary projects related to machinery protection and condition monitoring systems.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, graduates, and less experienced personnel through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise with equipment manufacturers, service providers, and contractors to ensure technical compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance indicators, achieve assigned KPIs, and report deviations and improvement opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, health, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
