Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be onsite 1 day a week.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain and validate warehouse capacity data in RR (storage types, pallet data, constraints) for assigned sites to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform recurring capacity analyses and scenario assessments to identify emerging risks, utilization gaps, and data quality issues.
  • Create and maintain standardized warehouse capacity dashboards and automated reporting to support planning cycles and governance forums.
Main Responsibilities of the role
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve warehouse capacity dashboards and automated reporting to support visibility across sites, storage types, and planning horizons.
  • Execute assigned initiatives from the Warehouse Capacity Roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of analytical outputs, dashboards, and agreed milestones.
  • Translate roadmap priorities and governance requirements into clear analytical deliverables (dashboards, standard views, reports) using agreed tools and templates.
  • Support planning and governance cadences (e.g. WH IBP) by preparing dashboard outputs, refreshes, and supporting analysis.
  • Monitor dashboard outputs to proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or emerging capacity risks and raise these through the defined escalation path.
  • Coordinate with Site SMEs, Planning, and system owners to ensure inputs required for roadmap dashboards and reporting are complete, accurate, and on time.
  • Showcase continuous improvement mindset to identify and deliver savings and improvements.
Required Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor degree (HBO) in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Administration.
  • SAP knowledge/experience (Plan-to-Stock, inventory management, capacity planning).
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of World Class Optimizations tools (Lean / JIT / 6 Sigma / FMEA / RCA).
  • Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or similar environment.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain.
  • Experience in an international complex organization.
  • Experience with Databricks and PowerBI.
  • Experience in using MS Office (i.e. Excel, Access, Powerpoint , Word etc.).
  • Fluent in English, oral and written communication.
