Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be onsite a minimum of 3 days a week.
What will you do
Their Supply Planning team plays a key role in fulfilling the mission of our client. They ensure supply to patients in close to 100 markets in Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa Regions. As part of the operations team located in Breda, they are responsible to manage the short, medium- and long-term plans for incoming supplies for production and warehouse. The site of our client in Breda is Class A certified and widely recognized in the network of our client for its capabilities to deal with high complexity, short lead times, and stable operation.
To expand their team, they are looking for a Detailed Scheduler to support their Supply Planning team: junior or experienced Supply Chain professional.

Main Responsibilities of the role
- Manage short-term production planning for packaging lines, ensuring timely delivery and stable supply chains to our patients.
- Craft production plans, manage orders, drive timely delivery and support phase-in-phase-out of product and launches.
- Support flawless execution and remove flow stoppers.
- Measuring of weekly and monthly KPI’s and set actions towards stakeholders for improvement/ e.g. MPS Stability (master production schedule).
- Participate and facilitate in daily operational meetings to oversee performance and coordinate actions across departments.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, warehouse and supply chain; lead weekly capacity meetings to align on realistic supply plans.
- Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of processes in your daily work as well as in cross-functional projects.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analyses.
- Demonstrate leadership in ensuring stable operations and supply chain efficiency with adhering to and within GMP and GDP guidelines.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a business, supply chain, science, engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience with supply chain planning.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Analytical skills to evaluate root cause analysis and problem-solving skills in a team environment.
- Experience in regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is not required but will be beneficial.
- Passionate about standardization and process automation. Interest and / or experience with tableau, smartsheet, databricks, RPA is preferred.
