Leading semi Government organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Associate for their offices in Oman. This role is best suited to candidates who currently hold an Oman Passport.

This role is primarily responsible for developing and executing business development activities including leading all project activities from conception to implementation, managing investment deals from origination to investment, and supporting Private Equity Business Development and Asset Management activities.

  • Proactively identify, develop, and lead investment projects and opportunities
  • Evaluate the feasibility of projects/investment opportunities - including conducting market studies, performing research and analysis, identifying risks and returns, conducting valuations, managing due diligence, and leading negotiations.
  • Develop financial models to analyse investment projects/investment opportunities to determine viability and profitability.
  • Manage the implementation phase of greenfield projects committed by the company.
  • Actively support existing projects / assets by being involved in specific tasks and responsibilities.
  • Liaise with the bankers, shareholders to channel the company funds effectively and with organisation's lawyers to determine legal and taxation consequences of alternative structures for proposed investments.
  • Generate investment reports as and when required.
  • Carry out other related duties and responsibilities as required

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills are required
  • Excellent communication and public relation skills are required
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance / Management / Economics / Mathematics or other related commercial discipline is required
  • Master's Degree or CFA / CAIA / CPA / ACCA or relevant professional certification is required.
