Position: Senior Accountant

Position Info:

Work Location: Baku Office

Position Schedule: ASAP, 12 months

Qualifications & Experience: Education: Higher education;

Years of Working Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Oil and Gas Industry;

Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).

Other Skills/Certificates Required:

- Knowledge of methods for the automatic control of the accounting system.
- Knowledge of administrative processes, control systems and accounting procedures.
- Capability to analyse and interpret complex information.
- Knowledge and practical experience of cost control process.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
- Be fluent in standard software for PC such as MS Office.

Responsibilities:

• Upgrade Company Guidelines Accounting Principles according to the international accounting principle (IFRS) and organize Company Administrative Procedures.
• Ensure the preparation of the annual and interim Statutory and Consolidated Financial Statements in accordance with the international rules and accounting standards;
• Guarantee the collection and elaboration of the necessary report for the consolidated financial statements;
• Support audit companies during the activities, dealing with certification of financial statement;
Only for Statutory Financial Statement:
• Guarantee proper general accounting and administration management, assuring the respect of local and international accounting and tax rules. Achieve correct recording of abandonment obligation and site reinstatement;
• Analyse International accounting principles, regulations and principles in order to identify changes and implementations applicable to the Company Guidelines, drawn up for Company Consolidated financial statements;
• Plan and organize, with the support of competent units, Company Administrative Procedures according to the evolutions of Company business processes and procedures;
• Notice active and passive administrative events through legal/fiscal registrations;
• Assure proper accountancy handling;
• Guarantee the notice of takings and achieve payments;
• Guarantee the reconciliation of open issues;
• Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the workplace, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
