Onsite in Cambridge, MA
6+ month initial Contract
Pay Rate: $47-50/hr (individual medical benefits available at a cost)
 
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate scientist specializing in cellular immunology and biology to join our team in the Immunology Discovery department based in Cambridge, MA. The candidate will focus on establishing novel therapeutic modalities using multiple in vitro assays, including primary immune cell and fibroblast cell culture, immunology assays, and basic biology and biochemical skills. The scientist will be responsible for the execution and analysis of the data. This position offers a unique opportunity for a talented scientist to work in a dynamic, innovative, and multi-disciplinary environment to develop their career at the interface of basic research and cutting-edge early drug discovery.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical setup. A master's degree with 1-3 years of industrial experience or a Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in immunology, especially with multi-color flow cytometry (BD Canto II / Fortessa / LSR II), and independently analyzing data using analytical software such as FlowJo is required.
  • Motivated to execute well-thought-out and well-planned in vitro experiments using the tool reagents generated.
  • Basic cell biology and biochemical skills, including tissue culture, transfection, and cell line generation.
  • mRNA LNP candidate screening and assay experience is preferable.
