The successful candidate will be in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision once trained. The candidate will be responsible for quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of synthetic molecules and peptides, data analysis and interpretation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quantitative LC-MS/MS of synthetic molecules and peptides from in-vitro and in-vivo biomatrices to support ADME bioassays and PK/PD studies.
  • Operate and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS instrumentation and perform routine maintenance of LC-MS/MS equipment.
  • Maintain excellent documentation of all work, including electronic lab notebooks, methods, and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, pharmacology, or related disciplines), with typically 0-3 years of experience, or a master’s degree with no additional experience.
  • Experience with quantitative bioanalysis of synthetic molecules and peptides.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more current LC-MS/MS platforms (e.g., Sciex triple quadrupoles, Agilent HPLCs, Shimadzu HPLCs, PAL autosamplers, ADDA, LS-II) and software (e.g., Analyst, Discovery Quant, LeadScape, Sciex OS, Electronic Laboratory Notebook).
  • Familiarity with automated sample preparation platforms.
  • Familiarity with ADME, PK, PD, and bioassays.
  • A good understanding of analytical methodologies used for synthetic molecules and peptide quantitation (acquisition, processing, and troubleshooting).
  • Ability to work independently or under minimal supervision to conduct experiments, as well as interpret, document, and communicate results.
  • Ability to balance generating high quality data within a standardized, streamlined, and high-throughput environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members in a dynamic environment, self-motivate, multitask, meet frequent tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
