We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join the Immunology Department. Our team is focused on identifying new targets for the treatment of autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases through computational analysis of human disease tissue derived datasets and through the validation of targets using in vitro and in vivo experimental approaches to make an impact on patient lives. This scientist will support the development of preclinical in vitro models for immune-mediated diseases with a focus on psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis. Candidates will be expected to be well-versed in in vitro model development for cellular assays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sterile cell culture (cell lines and primary cells)/aseptic technique
- Demonstrated ability to optimize cell culture conditions, phenotypic assays
- Demonstrated ability to perform PCR/gene analysis, protein/cytokine measures via ELISA/MSD and western blotting
- Candidates with knowledge of the following techniques will receive extra consideration: flow cytometry, tissue explants
- Proficient in maintaining accurate laboratory records and data
- Analyze data, generate PowerPoint slides and present work in internal meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, immunology or other biological sciences with 1-4 (BS/BA) years of experience
- Master’s degree is desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with peers and their teams
