Our client has a permanent requirement for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Leads and supports refineries in optimizing machinery performance and reliability at all refining sites, which will be accomplished by implementing and enhancing reliability engineering, maintenance, and operations practices associated with rotating equipment, and providing field support in troubleshooting and improving equipment performance.

Develops a comprehensive plan to achieve and maintain 6 year (or greater) machinery Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) in the entire refining system and assists with implementation of the plans.

Ensures rotating equipment incidents and performance issues are effectively investigated and root cause issues resolved.

Develops the Rotating Equipment Technical network which includes site rotating equipment engineers and maintenance supervisors.

Sets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align, coordinates the network and coaches network leaders to reach their objectives.

Develops, monitors and communicates Reliability metrics, identifies successes and potential areas for improvement.

Ensures sharing of effective practices and lessons learned from incidents across the corporation and industry.

Provides technical oversight in the areas of machinery selection, revamp and retrofit, identification of needed repairs, selection of overhaul procedures, condition monitoring, and interface with or selection of vendors.

Evaluates the effectiveness of operating procedures and practices associated with specific mechanical engineering processes and maintains HFC corporate Rotating Equipment engineering standards.
