Orion Partner Plus has been retained to search for a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial air filtration products and solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization dedicated to helping industries create cleaner, safer, and more sustainable working environments.
As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth across the Midwest region through an established distributor network. You will build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, support them with product knowledge and training, and develop strategies to expand market presence in under-represented areas.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with internal teams—including engineering, production, and inside sales—to deliver exceptional service and solutions to customers, while ensuring distributor performance meets or exceeds targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue goals
- Strengthen relationships with distributor partners and provide ongoing product support
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners in underserved territories
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to drive growth strategies
- Participate in bi-annual distributor training events to showcase product advantages and sales techniques
- Monitor distributor performance, report on KPIs, and forecast bookings
- 3–5 years of technical sales experience (equipment, engineered products, or solutions preferred)
- Proven track record in managing distributor networks or regional sales territories
- Strong skills in sales strategy development and execution
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel within the Midwest region
- Self-motivated, solutions-driven mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of dust collection and/or finishing equipment
- Understanding of financial management and business principles
