Regional Sales Manager – Hydraulics

Southwest Territory | Remote | Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas & Tennessee

Orion Group has once again been retained by a global leader in filtration technology to recruit a Regional Sales Manager for its growing Hydraulics Business Unit.

Our client is a well-established international manufacturer of hydraulic filtration solutions, supplying both OEM and aftermarket customers across construction, agriculture, mining, industrial manufacturing, fluid power, and mobile equipment markets. Following significant investment and strategic acquisitions, the business continues to strengthen its North American presence and is seeking an experienced technical sales professional to drive growth across the Southwest region.

The Opportunity
This is a true business development role suited to someone who enjoys opening new accounts, developing distribution partners, and working directly with OEMs, system integrators and end users.

The position has a strong MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) focus and would suit someone with a strong hydraulics aftermarket background. We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience working closely with industrial distributors, driving aftermarket sales, and supporting customers in uptime-critical environments where reliability and equipment performance are critical.

You'll represent a highly respected portfolio of hydraulic filtration products while providing technical support and application expertise to customers throughout your territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth throughout the assigned territory.
  • Develop new business opportunities with OEMs, distributors and industrial end users.
  • Strengthen and grow existing distributor relationships while identifying new channel partners.
  • Deliver technical product presentations and distributor training.
  • Provide hydraulic application support and product expertise.
  • Support customers with troubleshooting and filtration solutions.
  • Develop quotations, proposals and pricing support.
  • Monitor market activity, customer trends and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Management and international colleagues to support business growth.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of industrial technical sales experience.
  • Experience selling hydraulic filtration, fluid power, hydraulic components or related industrial products.
  • Strong MRO-focused hydraulics sales experience with a proven track record of working through industrial distributors and driving aftermarket growth.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and hydraulic circuits.
  • Hunter mentality with a proven ability to win new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
