This position will be based in Anchorage, Alaska. Rotation is not an option, we are looking for someone who is interested in moving to, or who currently lives in Anchorage. This is a long term opportunity with an EPC company with lots of work on the horizon.

Responsibilities
- Formulates and maintains quality objectives complementary to company policies and goals. Interprets quality philosophy to key personnel in organization.
- Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
- Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
- Leads organization to certification and recertification in relevant ISO Standards.
- Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken. Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management team.
- Maintains a working knowledge of industry quality codes and standards.
- Plays active role on quality and project management teams within organization. Designs and implements quality programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.
- Develops and provides training to employees in the area of quality.
- Coordinates preparation activities for customer audits, customer sponsored audits and third party audits.
- Has the responsibility, authority, and organizational freedom, in consultation with the president, to identify and evaluate quality-related problems and to recommend and verify solutions.
- Ensures continual improvement occurs throughout the Company’s processes, systems and content.
- Monitors compliance with client criteria as well as all state and national codes and regulations. Ensures that all assigned activities and operations comply with applicable regulations and laws.
- Performs quality-engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
- Integrates the quality assurance program with company global assurance requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Formal training in Quality Management Systems.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in quality assurance or a directly related role.
