Job Purpose: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality within large-scale projects as a member of the Quality team. The role ensures the quality of products and processes across the manufacturing lifecycle through the development and implementation of quality control procedures, monitoring production, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement. A key accountability is ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and stakeholder requirements.

- Balancing time-sensitive oversight while maintaining excellence in Quality Assurance and transparency across all stakeholders
- Establishing, revising, and enforcing implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) for multiple projects
- Evaluating and aligning failure analysis reports, including interpretation of lab results, and providing preventive recommendations
- Resolving issues to the satisfaction of stakeholders
- Ensuring that all contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and sub-vendors meet applicable quality requirements and deliver projects flawlessly, within schedule and budget.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and tests during manufacturing to detect defects or deviations.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis (Fishbone, 5 Whys, etc.), and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes and products with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality using best practices and lean principles.
- Lead or participate in Quality Management System (QMS) audits to ensure compliance with company and international standards.
- Evaluate and manage the quality of materials and components from suppliers.
- Participate in validating new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure consistent quality performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Quality within the Oil & Gas industry (or equivalent large-scale industry), including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role
- Experience with contractors, vendors, or service providers in project and operations environments
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, relevant specifications, and industry standards
- Proven ability to create and implement quality control plans, procedures, and documentation
- Proficiency in Quality Analysis tools (e.g., Root Cause Failure Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys)
- Strong knowledge of both destructive and non-destructive testing methods and the ability to interpret results
- Ability to prepare and document Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and related documentation clearly and concisely
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams
