We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Chemist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working in a GMP laboratory environment.
Quality Control Chemist Responsibilities:
- Performs test methods as written to support product/material release.
- Understands and maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Understands, implements and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Will perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained.
- Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks as committed. works with others to maintain a positive atmosphere to accomplish business objectives.
- Revises procedures as necessary and provides support for department.
- Helps maintain trend reports, which support departmental performance.
- Support investigations.
- Will effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained on with minimal error.
- BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or equivalent science degree. with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy, and biochemistry.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and high-performance liquid chromatographs.
- Familiarity with GLP, CGMP guidelines, and FDA regulations governing quality control processes.
- Solid experience in wet chemistry techniques and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

- 2 to 5 years of experience with UV-VI
- Nice to have: experience with HPLC, EMPOWER
