QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support major Oil & Gas EPC projects involving engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, testing, and project handover activities.
The successful candidate will act as the quality focal point, ensuring compliance with quality management systems, project specifications, international standards, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging brownfield and greenfield projects, including shutdowns, offshore modifications, valve overhauls, and source inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities throughout engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and handover phases.
• Review and approve QA/QC documentation including Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), welding procedures, NDT procedures, and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate site inspections, workshop inspections, vendor surveillance, and third-party inspection activities.
• Lead Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), corrective actions, and close-out.
• Support procurement quality activities including material approvals, technical bid evaluations, and criticality assessments.
• Conduct quality audits, assessments, and contractor performance evaluations.
• Coordinate punch list close-out, mechanical acceptance, and pre-commissioning quality activities.
• Monitor project quality metrics and provide regular reporting to project management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and company quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (or equivalent).
• NDT Level II Certification (RT, UT, MT, PT mandatory).
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
• Valid offshore certifications including BOSIET/TBOSIET, H₂S, BA, and Offshore Medical (preferred).

Experience Required

• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong background supporting offshore brownfield and greenfield EPC projects.
• Proven experience with:
  • Motor Operated Valves (MOV)
  • Shutdown Valves (SDV)
  • Double Block & Bleed Valves (DBB)
  • Source Inspection Programs
  • Manufacturing, testing, and inspection activities
• Experience leading multidisciplinary QA/QC inspection teams.
• Strong knowledge of welding, coating, NDT, mechanical inspection, and procurement quality.
