Orion Group are delighted to be working with a country wide business in the Search for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. You will join the business on a permanent contract during a busy period dealing with a backlog of invoices and managing them efficiently there after.

What is involved in the role:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices, matching and batching
  • Using sage line 50
  • Dealing with any queries that may arise
  • Liaising with other members of the finance team and working together to meet strict deadlines
  • Building and maintaining relationships with buyers and suppliers
  • Some work on Microsoft Excel (Vlookup/ Pivot tables)

Experience and skills which would be beneficial:

  • Experience in a similar fast paced environment
  • Any qualifications would be beneficial
  • Experience of Sage and Microsoft packages, general systems experience would also be beneficial
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast and accurate worker
  • Availability on short notice would be good
