Position Tittle - Projects Methods Reporting Engineer
Location: Doha
Contract Duration – 24 Months
 
Accountability
Procurement Strategy Implementation:
Execute and continuously refine the procurement strategy as defined by the Project Management Team (PMT), tailoring it to the specific needs of each package.
Vendor Engagement & Expediting:
Support package procurement engineers in engaging directly or via expediting agencies with key suppliers and EPC contractors to ensure timely delivery of vendor packages.
Procurement Cycle Analysis:
Monitor and analyze procurement trends across all packages to identify performance patterns and areas for improvement.
Performance Reporting:
Provide regular reports to management highlighting successes and challenges within the procurement process.
SAP: To continually improvethe  SAP to the process within MPTo Provide extensive knowledge and technical expertise in the use of and the functionality of the Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO): Materials Management (MM) Plant Maintenance (PM), and not limited to Work Order Management:
Vendor Performance Appraisal:
Evaluate vendor performance throughout the project execution phase, synthesize findings, and provide insights into market conditions.
Tender Support:
Assist in tendering activities for various project components, ensuring alignment with procurement strategy and project timelines.
Contractor Monitoring:
Oversee and assess contractors’ reports across multiple projects to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.
 
 
ACTIVITIES
To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.
To define, develop and maintain all internal MP Procedures under company CMS, associated templates and tools as necessary (Contract and Procurement Strategy, Budgeting and Cost Control, Scheduling, Reporting, Documentation Control, HR administration,) in compliance with the company Corporate procedures and practices.
To provide support for implementing the Project Organizational Documents (meeting presentations, training courses, individual explanations...)
To develop, as requested by Project Management, Project organisational documents and presentations (Project Execution Plan, etc.)
To propose and implement means and tools that would ease organisational process.
To take part in or conduct internal audits/reviews with Quality Lead to ensure compliance with MP internal procedures.
Preparation in relation with the Lead expeditor and Atex engineers, the set of KPI for MP dashboard and individual Project reporting
To control the activities of Reporting by updating the Ruya procurement dashboard, the supply chain, Atex dossiers and any other relevant reports within the system updated.
Drafting the memos and minutes to be issued by the Major Projects division
Support projects team in the preparation, formatting, updating and tracking of tenders and contract documentation in a timely manner, take minutes and draft tender bulletin as required
To provide support in actions related to project communication, ensuring consistency of presentations and managing information release in the intranet and outside TEPB organisation (requests from contractors, newspaper, etc..)
To observe strict confidentiality in the data and information managed
To gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedbacks to MP
Responsible for preparation of Company/MP’s Training Matrix for management approval and supervision of all presentations related to inductions and trainings, for follow-up of MP training requirements and management of training providers.
 
Qualifications & Experience Required
Engineering Degree or Masters.
Minimum 10 years’ experience of which: 5 years general upstream oil and gas experience; Experience in similar position (years): min 5 in a large oil and gas organization; Familiar with project procedures, Management System standards and guidelines.
Computer knowledge
Conversant with usual business suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access databases).
Familiarity with Project Management Standards and International ISO 9001
