Project Quality Engineer

Position: Project Quality Engineer

Position Info:

Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)

Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year renewable.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Materials, Welding, or related engineering discipline (preferred).

Work Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years in QA/QC roles, preferably within offshore oil & gas or EPC projects.

Knowledge of Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

Other Skills/Certificates Required:

• ISO 9001:2015 certification (mandatory);
• CSWIP 3.1/3.2 and NDT Level II certifications (preferred but not essential);
• Strong understanding of quality documentation processes, QMS implementation, and traceability;
• Familiarity with offshore pipeline and subsea project scopes is an advantage;
• Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with Company QMS;
• Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and related procedures;
• Coordinate and follow up on internal and external quality audits;
• Review and manage quality documentation from vendors and subcontractors;
• Track and close non-conformities (NCRs); support root cause analysis and corrective actions;
• Support the implementation of lessons learned, cost of non-quality, and Client satisfaction processes;;
• Promote quality awareness within the project team and support internal training initiatives;
• Collect, analyse, and report project quality performance data to corporate systems;
• Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
• The role may require occasional short-term visits to vendor facilities or project sites, as deemed necessary.
