Position: Project Quality Control Coordinator
Position Info:
Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)
Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year renewable
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Higher education
Work Experience: Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas industry
Qualification: Welding qualification CSWIP 3.1 (preferred 3.2) or IWI B (Preferred IWI C)
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent)
Other Skills/Certificates Required:
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards to approach correctly to all quality matters.
Knowledge of advanced NDT technologies.
Capability to check the calibration of NDT instruments and certification validity.
Knowledge in Coating and Painting inspection (qualification BGAS Level 2 or equivalent is preferable)
Capability to plan, execute, report inspection and test according to Quality Control Plan.
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the project;
Support Project Quality Manager in supervising the project Quality Control activities;
Report to Project Quality Manager information and data about Project in line with Corporate and Offshore Division Guidelines;
Act as focal point for quality control related matters within the project and in liaison with external entities.
Verify the implementation of the inspection, control and test notification process;
Support the Project Quality Manager in defining the Project Quality Control System and in identifying needed project quality control plans and QC procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System;
Support the Project Quality Manager in planning and allocating QC functions to the project, ensure coordination of assigned personnel;
Review Quality Control Plans, ensure that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans and that personnel have access to all required project documentation;
Check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections and agrees on the applicable operating procedures with the organization in charge of the works;
Review applicable QC procedures, including those relating to special processes;
Check that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, identified, traceable preserved and handled (if needed);
Check the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspections carried out and ensure their orderly collection and management, mechanical completion included;
Verify that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out by the Subcontractors;
Verify the correct implementation and application of Quality Tools;
Provide specialist support to the Project Quality Manager in interfacing with the Client and third parties;
Ensure the correct application and, whenever necessary, the update of site Quality Control Plans/procedures;
Ensure training of Site Personnel on QC topics;
Verify proper Non Conformity detection and recording in D2 system, as well as relevant corrective actions implementation;
Verify the preparation of the Quality section of the final dossier. In case of subcontracted activities, verify the QC section of the dossier is properly collected;
Verify that inspection/control/test reports are verified, recorded, filed and traceable;
Collect and analyze project QC data to be provided to Project Quality Manager, also in view of the Project Quality Management Review preparation;
Support the Project Quality Manager in the management/implementation of lesson learned, Cost of Non-quality and Self Verifications processes;
Reports Project QC information and data to Project Quality Manager by means of Corporate and Offshore Division methodologies and tools;
Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
