Orion Rail are looking for a Project Manager to join our internal rail construction team.

Location - Redhill covering projects across England (Bristol, Birmingham, and South East)

  • Hours - 8am to 5pm
  • Requirement for Nights and weekends from time to time
  • Rail training required (PTS)

Salary - £60,000 - £70,000


  • Must have proven track record of managing small to medium quick turnaround schemes
  • Civils experience is a must
  • Platform experience if possible
  • Thorough understanding of access/possession planning and its restraints.
  • Co-ordination of all relevant parties of the project from inception to close out (Able to liaise with internal procurement, planning and labour teams).
  • Good client interface skills.
  • Able to take sole responsibility for project deliverables from commencement to completion.
  • Good team/interpersonal skills
  • Ensure you are able to meet the scope with defined completion criteria.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of change and change management is desirable
  • Contractor back ground would be preferable but client/PC experience would be considered.
  • A drive to succeed in the role and progress professionally is essential to success in this role and within Orion Rail.
  • Management of the technical aspects of design, procurement, implementation and close-out in accordance with the programme.
