Position : Project Manager (onshore)
Job Purpose
Lead execution of ongoing onshore facility projects in Dashgil and Sangachal, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
Work Location: Demirchi Tower, Baku, Azerbaijan
Contract Duration: Annual
Work Schedule: Normal office hours (5/2) if required Saturday
Position Type: Onshore
Key Responsibilities
• Lead execution of ongoing onshore facility projects from planning through close-out.
• Develop detailed execution strategies for brownfield modifications and facility upgrades.
• Define project scope, execution methodology, and interface management plans.
• Control project schedule, cost performance, and resource allocation.
• Manage EPC/EPCM contractors and ensure contract compliance.
• Oversee engineering deliverables and ensure timely approvals and reviews.
• Manage construction activities in live plant environments with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure safe execution of works in operating facilities including permit-to-work (PTW) compliance.
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, and operational interface planning.
• Manage procurement activities including material tracking and vendor performance.
• Lead risk assessments and mitigation planning for construction and operational risks.
• Ensure adherence to HSE management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct progress meetings and interface coordination with stakeholders and operations teams.
• Prepare executive-level project reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
• Manage project close-out activities including documentation, punch lists, and handover dossiers.
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering.
• 10-15 years oil & gas and Project Manager experience.
• Onshore facility / terminal / processing plant experience required.
• Brownfield experience required.
• PMP certification preferred.
