Role: Project Manager

Location: Somerset

Background: Our client are looking to recruit Project Managers to join their delivery team supporting the construction of Hinkley Point C in Somerset. The role joins a large client lead team responsible for multiple projects across a UK wide portfolio.


  • Accountable for successful delivery of assigned projects.
  • Set project execution strategy to deliver assigned project I a timely and safe manner in line with established goals and objectives.
  • Managing assigned projects from concept to close out.
  • Effective communication to stakeholders and project team to ensure understanding amongst all necessary.
  • Control of scope and cost as agreed.
  • Contract management responsibilities.
  • Ensue adherence of Project License Conditions.
  • Minimising project risks.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports regarding performance and status of the project.
  • Maintaining alignment of the project to success outputs as determined by project baseline.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree Educated, ideally in engineering.
  • Formal project management qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience working within complex, multi-functional organisation managing projects throughout the full project life scale.
  • Understanding of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction and installation / commissioning.
  • Experience working on a significant brown-field project will be desirable.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of Safety Cases, including how they are developed and implemented.
