Orion Group is seeking a mid-level Project Manager with a strong background in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries to support cross-functional initiatives to support our global pharma client in North Chicago.
This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and stakeholder expectations are met.
The ideal candidate brings strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills and thrives in a structured, collaborative environment.

Orion Group is seeking a mid-level Project Manager with a strong background in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries to support cross-functional initiatives to support our global pharma client in North Chicago.
This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and stakeholder expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project and program activities, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion
- Communicate project goals, progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and team members
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align expectations and ensure business needs are met
- Analyze project data and metrics to proactively identify issues and support informed decision-making
- Ensure projects remain within scope and aligned with organizational objectives
- 5–7 years of experience in Project and/or Program Management (candidates with more than 7 years will not be considered)
- Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with and managing cross-functional stakeholders
- PMP certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Smartsheet experience
- Work Environment: Cubicle setting
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime: Not offered or required
- Hybrid role: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
