Project Manager I – Digital Marketing Operations
Location: Mettawa, IL
Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday
Duration: 12-month contract to start
$35-$40/HR based on benefit selections
Orion Group is seeking a Project Manager to support our pharmaceutical clients' in-house creative agency. This role partners closely with digital, creative, account, and production teams to manage the successful execution of digital marketing projects from initiation through delivery.
The ideal candidate has experience managing digital marketing projects in a fast-paced environment and excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Orion Group is seeking a Project Manager to support our pharmaceutical clients' in-house creative agency. This role partners closely with digital, creative, account, and production teams to manage the successful execution of digital marketing projects from initiation through delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage digital marketing projects including websites, emails, banner ads, mobile applications, and field tools.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Attend client meetings and communicate project updates, risks, and next steps.
- Partner with Account Managers, Creative, Development, and Digital teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with project estimates, timelines, billing, and resource coordination.
- Perform quality control (QC), asset testing, and documentation to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Support digital production workflows while maintaining compliance with promotional review processes and corporate guidelines.
- Track project progress, budgets, and time while managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience managing digital marketing or web-based projects.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with experience in quality control, testing, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Agency experience or pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing experience.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Knowledge of HTML, website development, UI/UX, SEO, and digital analytics.
- Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats, promotional review processes, and marketing compliance.
