About the Role
Orion Group is seeking a highly collaborative and adaptable Project Manager III (Non-IT) with a strong background in Agile practices to support technical project delivery for our pharmaceutical client!
This individual will act as an Agile Specialist, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement across teams.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where you will play a key role in ensuring visibility, alignment, and on-time delivery of critical initiatives.

About the Role
Orion Group is seeking a highly collaborative and adaptable Project Manager III (Non-IT) with a strong background in Agile practices to support technical project delivery for our pharmaceutical client!
This individual will act as an Agile Specialist, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement across teams.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where you will play a key role in ensuring visibility, alignment, and on-time delivery of critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine continuous planning processes, maintaining visibility into a rolling quarterly roadmap
- Manage and maintain engineering team schedules, ensuring accurate resource planning and milestone alignment
- Track project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines to ensure successful execution
- Identify and remove roadblocks impacting team progress
- Coordinate communication across cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and PMO
- Partner with stakeholders to manage and prioritize product backlogs
- Ensure teams have clear requirements and UX/design inputs to support delivery timelines
- Serve as a key liaison between development teams and business stakeholders
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including:
- Daily stand-ups
- Sprint planning
- Backlog refinement
- Sprint reviews
- Retrospectives
- Promote and reinforce Agile best practices to improve team performance and efficiency
- Manage and support JIRA and related Agile tools
- Track and report Agile metrics (burndown, velocity, etc.) to identify risks and improve outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Agile project management within a technical or product-focused environment
- Strong proficiency in JIRA (required) and familiarity with Confluence or similar tools
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Background in the technology industry or supporting technical teams
