Orion Group is hiring a Project Manager for our pharmaceutical client’s International Customer Excellence PMO team supporting high-impact global business transformation initiatives, strategic programs, and product launches within a dynamic, matrixed pharmaceutical environment.
This role is ideal for a project professional who thrives in fast-paced settings, collaborates effectively across regions and functions, and supports operational excellence through strong governance and reporting practices.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute PMO activities to support aligned project delivery across multiple functions, regions, and global affiliates
  • Maintain and apply standardized PMO processes, tools, and reporting methodologies to ensure governance, transparency, and consistency
  • Partner with international commercial and marketing teams to facilitate communication and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Support senior PMO leads and project managers with risk management, resource planning, and performance tracking
  • Prepare project status reports, executive summaries, and presentation materials for stakeholders and sponsors
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings and workshops (e.g., town halls, governance councils), ensuring effective logistics and content alignment
 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing matrixed, cross-functional, or global projects/programs (business transformation, strategic initiatives, product launches, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; English fluency required
  • Ability to effectively engage senior leadership and diverse global stakeholders
  • Familiarity with PMO methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Pharmaceutical industry exposure is a plus, but not required
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting international or global initiatives
  • Experience preparing executive-level reporting and presentations
