Work Model: Hybrid (Tuesday – Thursday onsite; Monday & Friday remote)

Orion Group is seeking a Digital Lab Email Specialist (Project Manager I) to support our pharmaceutical client’s Patient Services (APS) CRM Digital Lab team. This role is responsible for building, authoring, and optimizing email campaigns that support multiple therapeutic areas, including Immunology, Neuroscience, Oncology, Aesthetics, and Eye Care.
This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role that requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work in a regulated marketing environment.

Orion Group is seeking a Digital Lab Email Specialist (Project Manager I) to support our pharmaceutical client’s Patient Services (APS) CRM Digital Lab team. This role is responsible for building, authoring, and optimizing email campaigns that support multiple therapeutic areas, including Immunology, Neuroscience, Oncology, Aesthetics, and Eye Care.
This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role that requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work in a regulated marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and modify email content within the Knak platform using modular templates, existing campaigns, and agency-provided assets
- Collaborate with project managers, marketers, and creative agencies to ensure high-quality email delivery
- Partner with creative agencies to update or enhance design files as needed
- Route email assets through the Material Review Process (MRP/MLR), including ownership of submissions, approvals, and functional testing
- Perform thorough quality control (QC) and proofing of all email campaigns
- Maintain and organize email assets, templates, and modules
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, templates, and processes to enhance email capabilities
- Leverage personalization and dynamic content strategies in partnership with Marketing Automation teams
- Troubleshoot email-related issues and provide guidance to internal teams and external partners
- Escalate platform or tool-related issues to the Email Product Owner
- Enhance creative assets using tools such as Photoshop, Figma, or SnagIt
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in email marketing (build, test, deploy)
- Experience with email platforms such as Knak, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development
- Experience with email testing tools (e.g., Email on Acid, Litmus) preferred
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a regulated environment (pharma, healthcare, financial services, etc.) preferred but not required
