Project Lead Engineer (Data Centres)

Proposed Start Date: January 2026
Duration: 1 year, with possibility for extension
Working hours: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours total (7.5 hours per day)
Location: Preferably Oslo; other locations in Norway possible with regular visits to the Oslo office

Overtime/Travel: No overtime. Travel time outside normal working hours is compensated at 50% of the hourly rate.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Project Lead Engineer to take a key role in leading technical activities across several customer projects in Norway. This
position is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, values strong and sustainable customer relationships, and is motivated by delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
• Lead and manage technical project work to ensure compliance with quality standards, schedules, financial targets, contract requirements, and safety regulations.
• Focus on power and control system deliveries for customers across grid companies, industry, and the transport sector.
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team, both internally and externally.
• Work closely with sales and project execution teams, maintaining strong and continuous customer dialogue.
• Collaborate with the project manager to align objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
• Work with high-voltage systems (>36 kV), transformers, protection and control systems, and auxiliary power supplies.
• Drive innovation and contribute to ongoing improvements of technical solutions.

Your Background:
• Senior-level professional with 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles.
• Educational background in electrical engineering, power systems, or similar.
• Experience leading technical teams or multidisciplinary coordination is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of interfaces between HV equipment, protection and control systems, and related disciplines (electromechanical, electrical, system engineering, commissioning, etc.).
• Strong ability to work according to quality standards, HSE requirements, and financial objectives.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build trust with colleagues, partners, and customers.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.

Language Requirements:
o English – required
o Scandinavian language – preferred
