Project Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Lead to support the execution of a major LNG restoration and redevelopment project.
The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning while coordinating EPC contractors, vendors and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities within the PMT.
• Develop execution plans covering engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate detailed design and technical deliverables.
• Support equipment damage assessment and OEM/vendor engagement.
• Monitor engineering progress, interfaces and project milestones.
• Manage technical risks and resolution of complex engineering issues.
• Support EPC scope development and tendering activities.
• Manage engineering changes and prevent uncontrolled scope growth.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and governance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years’ engineering experience.
• Minimum 4 years within Oil & Gas.
• Experience overseeing contractors, subcontractors or vendors.
• Previous Project Engineer / Field Engineer experience.
• Integrated LNG development experience involving multiple EPC packages.
• Experience with upstream sour gas and LNG facilities.
• Major EPC contractor experience.
• Strong risk management and technical decision-making capability.
