Project Engineer - Marine Engine Manufacturing Company

Great opportunity to work for a global engineering company focused on large-scale propulsion, power systems, and decarbonisation technologies. They design and manufacture large engines and turbomachinery for both marine (ships) and stationary applications (power plants etc.).

They are recruiting for a Project Engineer in Antwerp to provide Technical Support on Projects for their Marine Customers:
  • Ensuring the preparation, follow-up, and successful completion of both internal and external projects.
  • Visiting clients and project sites to discuss and evaluate ongoing and future projects.
  • Drafting detailed project proposals, including time estimates and cost projections, and aligning these with the client’s needs.
  • Maintaining close contact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all parties are well informed.

Your qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of engines and turbines.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP SBO) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • A practical approach, stress-resistant, and detail-oriented.
  • A team player with a professional demeanor.
  • Dutch language skills are essential.
