Project Coordinator -Quality & Raw Materials
Location: Worcester, MA
Schedule: 100% Onsite
Contract: through March 2027

Orion Group is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a cross-functional, network-wide initiative to incorporate incoming raw material testing requirements into specifications for our pharmaceutical client in Worcester, MA.
This individual will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, coordinating internal and external deliverables, tracking third-party laboratory test method validation, and providing clear visibility into project progress, metrics, and risks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional who is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and deliverables within a GxP-regulated environment.

What You’ll Do
- Create comprehensive project plans, objectives, strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
- Translate project plans into clear, measurable actions and track progress through completion.
- Coordinate activities across cross-functional and network-wide teams.
- Track internal project deliverables and third-party laboratory test method validation activities.
- Monitor timelines, milestones, dependencies, and outstanding actions to keep the project on schedule.
- Identify and escalate project risks in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain project metrics and status reporting.
- Host periodic project and management updates to communicate progress, risks, priorities, and next steps.
- Prepare and present reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize project/program management tools and communication techniques to maintain project visibility and organization.
- Ensure activities comply with applicable GxP requirements, SOPs, safety requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- BS/BA in a related field.
- Previous project management or project coordination experience.
- Strong workload management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving pieces.
- Proficiency with common project/program management and communication software tools.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners/vendors.
- Comfortable preparing reports, tracking metrics, facilitating meetings, and presenting project updates.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and proactively escalate risks.
