Orion Group Life Sciences are currently recruiting a Project Administrator on behalf of our Multinational Biopharmaceutical Client based in Boxmeer, Netherlands on an initial 12-Month contract with potential to extend.
Overview
The Project Administrator provides administrative and secretarial support to the Site Engineering team and supports the successful delivery of engineering and capital projects. The role is responsible for coordinating administrative processes, supporting project teams, maintaining project systems, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across the department.

Overview
The Project Administrator provides administrative and secretarial support to the Site Engineering team and supports the successful delivery of engineering and capital projects. The role is responsible for coordinating administrative processes, supporting project teams, maintaining project systems, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Site Engineering department and individual projects.
- Act as the key user for SAP SRM and SAP PM, supporting colleagues with purchase orders, invoice processing, and system-related queries.
- Create and process purchase orders and invoices within SAP.
- Create and manage maintenance notifications in SAP PM and monitor their progress.
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including creating positions within the HR system.
- Support management with calendar and meeting coordination.
- Maintain employee training records and ensure mandatory training is up to date.
- Assist with organising training programmes for the engineering team.
- Update departmental performance boards and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
- Keep the department intranet up to date.
- Initiate new projects within internal project management systems.
- Support internal project communications and departmental reporting.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and other documentation.
- Provide general administrative support across the Site Engineering department.
Process Improvement
- Analyse administrative processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support and implement Lean initiatives to improve administrative efficiency and departmental processes.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of SAP SRM and SAP PM, with the ability to act as a key user.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

Experience and Qualifications
- Vocational or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a project administration or project support role within an engineering, manufacturing, or project management environment.
- Experience working with SAP SRM and SAP PM is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organisational and financial administration skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced engineering environment.
