This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Professional Land Surveyor looking to lead an established team while remaining hands-on with technically challenging projects across the region.

- Utility upgrades

The Role
The successful candidate will lead and develop the Survey Department while delivering a wide variety of surveying projects, including:
- Boundary Surveys
- Cadastral Surveys
- ALTA Surveys
- Topographic Surveys
- Construction Staking
- Hydraulic Surveys
- Managing survey projects from planning through completion
- Leading and mentoring survey staff
- Processing survey data using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D
- Preparing plats, legal descriptions and survey documentation
- Working closely with engineers, developers and public agencies
- Maintaining technical quality and regulatory compliance
- Supporting the continued growth of the survey department
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licence (Montana preferred)
- Candidates licensed in another state who are committed to obtaining Montana licensure are encouraged to apply
- Experience leading survey projects and teams
- Strong background in boundary, ALTA, topographic and construction surveys
- Experience with Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
