Intro

Join this major international operator in an offshore position as Process Safety expert for all offshore Integrity activities. You will work on their North Sea platforms on a 2/3 rotation, with an excellent day rate on offer.

The Role

- The Offshore Integrity Engineer is a supporting Process safety & Integrity resource to the OIM
- Offshore Integrity Engineer is overall responsible for the integrity of the platform facilities -maintaining an operational facility within Design envelope & safe operating limits
- Offshore Integrity Engineer is responsible for maintaining a true and fair integrity picture of the installation topsides, Wells & subsurface
- Offshore Integrity Engineer is responsible for effective supervision of inspections, assurance and corrective activities related to integrity herein Fabric Maintenance

Detailed Responsibilities

* Provide process safety coaching and training for the platform supervisor team and where needed in the offshore organization -enabling effective process safety leadership
* Responsible for Safety Critical Element management -enabling a clear view of the integrity of each hardware barrier, as well as current & future deferrals and possible impaired elements
* Responsible for efficient management of process and operational safety monitoring as well as providing a true and fair picture of the process safety related risks, challenges and mitigations
* Responsible for effective support to the installation management team in administrating process safety risks
* On behalf of the OIM, manage process safety risks and actions, providing a risk based review of actions ensuring quality and efficiency of actions as well as timely follow up with on/offshore action holders
* Responsible for facilitating offshore risk assessments and providing process safety training and coaching of personnel
* Provide leadership for the inspection, fabric maintenance and assurance teams & vendors
* Provide technical competency assurance related input on process safety & integrity skills of personnel
* Responsible for efficient coordination of Inspections, corrective and assurance related activities including Fabric Maintenance
* Owner of the installation integrity overview and installation risk profile
* Responsible for efficient and proactive identification of potential Integrity risks, herein structural, wells, subsurface, containment, ignition prevention and detection/shutdown/protection systems -enabling control measures or mitigations to be put in place in due time
* First point of contact on emergent containment or integrity related risks & challenges
* Responsible for platform compliance with asset Integrity strategy
