Orion Group Sciences are seeking a Process Engineering Specialist to work with our multinational pharmaceutical client in Boxmeer.
The Role:
Serve as a subject matter expert in processing and equipment, including installation, comissioning, qualification etc. of such process and equipment as:
o Clean utilities (PW, WFI, clean steam)
o Media preparation units
o Fermentation processes (bacterial and cell culture)
o Downstream processing (e.g., filtration, centrifugation, homogenization)
o Single-use equipment
o Sterilization equipment/autoclaves
o Freeze-dryers
o Process control systems (PLC and DCS)
o System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Bio)chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field
- At least 5–10 years of relevant work experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Proficiency in technical writing and the design of process engineering installations
- Good command of Dutch and English
