Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join the U.S. team based in Charlotte, NC. This role provides technical leadership across all phases of equipment application—from lab testing and system design through to commissioning and process optimization. It offers a dynamic and varied scope of work ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, customer interaction, and travel.

This position includes work in lab and plant environments and may require standing for extended periods, lifting equipment or parts, and operating machinery such as forklifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct benchtop and pilot-scale filtration tests; supervise pilot installations and startups
- Translate lab and pilot results into full-scale system specifications
- Select and size equipment appropriate for customer applications
- Develop technical documentation, specifications, and control system narratives
- Respond to technical inquiries and provide support during sales and project execution
- Travel to customer sites for process startups, training, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and customers throughout project lifecycles
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Hands-on experience in chemical production or similar industrial environment
- Familiarity with GA drawings, P&ID, and electrical/pneumatic schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate across technical and commercial functions
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
