Orion Group are currently seeking a Power System Studies Engineers for a 6-12 month assignment, based in Surrey.

Start – ASAP
Working pattern - 4 days in the office, 1 day remotely.
Outside IR35

Purpose Of the Role
We are looking for a Power systems studies engineer to support onshore projects

Skills / Experience
  • To include captive power generation, with or without grid connection
  • Studies will include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash & transient stability
  • Tasks will include running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors
  • Provide power system studies for projects including EMT software.
  • Intermediate know-how using ETAP software
