Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Platform Administrator based in Aberdeen.

Key Area of Responsibilities:
Maintenance and upkeep of SolarWinds and DataMiner systems
Handling work requests related to these systems (configuring devices for monitoring, troubleshooting device visibility, managing access requests, etc.)
Provide full support for these systems, sometimes outside regular business hours as needed, and help the team keep up with daily incident tickets.
Understand the underlying data sufficiently to assist the business with report generation or analysis of historical and real time data as needed.
Produce documentation and share knowledge with peers.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.

Qualifications & Experience:
BSc Degree or equivalent experience
(SCP) SolarWinds Certified Professional
Preferred - DataMiner System Administrator certification
Preferred - Networking certification (CCNA)
Optional - Other Dataminer certifications (Operator, Advanced Applications, or Driver Development)
Desirable -VMWare administration
Oil & Gas / Utilities / Telecommunications Industry Awareness
