This role will initially be based in Milan residential, and then transferring to a site based rotational role(28/28) after approx 6-12 months


Major LNG Development Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Planning Engineer to join one of the world's largest LNG developments during a critical phase of project execution and commissioning.
Working within a multinational project team, you will be responsible for developing, integrating and managing commissioning schedules across multiple project packages, ensuring alignment between construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operations readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain commissioning and start-up schedules.
• Integrate contractor, subcontractor and yard commissioning activities into the overall project schedule.
• Review and challenge contractor schedules, durations, logic and critical paths.
• Monitor progress, analyse variances and produce forecasting reports.
• Coordinate interfaces between commissioning, start-up, operations and upstream teams.
• Support schedule risk analysis and contingency management.
• Track and report commissioning KPIs to project management.
• Participate in project digitalisation initiatives and planning improvements.

Requirements
✔ 10+ years' experience in Planning, Scheduling or Project Controls within major Oil & Gas projects.
✔ Strong commissioning, pre-commissioning and start-up planning experience.
✔ Advanced Primavera P6 expertise.
✔ Experience working on LNG, FPSO, refinery, petrochemical or large EPC developments.
✔ Strong understanding of critical path analysis, progress measurement and schedule risk management.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
