Position: Planning Engineer

Location: Milan, Italy

Reporting to: Project Service Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update project schedules for offshore and onshore projects. The role ensures timely execution across all phases — engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover — while supporting proactive project management through schedule forecasts, progress updates, and delay analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Project Master Schedule aligned with the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Identify critical path activities and key milestones.
  • Monitor actual progress versus baseline and update schedules periodically.
  • Collect progress data from engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and offshore teams.
  • Prepare schedule reports, CPM analysis, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Perform delay and change impact analysis, supporting claims and EOT submissions.
  • Coordinate across multiple work fronts including yard fabrication, module assembly, marine vessel mobilization, subsea installation, and commissioning.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Engineering.
  • relevant experience, including offshore.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in schedule preparation, CPM analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
