Position: Planning Engineer
Location: Milan, Italy
Reporting to: Project Service Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update project schedules for offshore and onshore projects. The role ensures timely execution across all phases — engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover — while supporting proactive project management through schedule forecasts, progress updates, and delay analysis.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update project schedules for offshore and onshore projects. The role ensures timely execution across all phases — engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover — while supporting proactive project management through schedule forecasts, progress updates, and delay analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Project Master Schedule aligned with the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Identify critical path activities and key milestones.
- Monitor actual progress versus baseline and update schedules periodically.
- Collect progress data from engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and offshore teams.
- Prepare schedule reports, CPM analysis, and look-ahead schedules.
- Perform delay and change impact analysis, supporting claims and EOT submissions.
- Coordinate across multiple work fronts including yard fabrication, module assembly, marine vessel mobilization, subsea installation, and commissioning.
- BSc in Engineering.
- relevant experience, including offshore.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in schedule preparation, CPM analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
