Key Responsibilities
  1. Integrate and complete commissioning and start-up scheduling activities to ensure high-quality and efficient startup.
  2. Track system commissioning progress and keep the operations team updated to ensure appropriate startup planning.
  3. Update equipment commissioning status logs to monitor completion and operational readiness.
  4. Monitor operations readiness deliverables to ensure safe startup and lifecycle maintenance of new facilities.
  5. Support the operations team in ensuring chemicals and consumables availability during start-up.
  6. Participate in risk screening and assessment processes to identify potential issues and support management decision-making.
  7. Support closeout of operational deliverables and exceptions following project handover.
  8. Participate in Risk-Based Work Selection (RBWS) meetings and follow up on operations-related defects and their closure.
  9. Assist in developing the Work Plan & Budget (WP&B), annual major jobs list, and integrated schedules in Primavera for major and unplanned emergency outage jobs.
  10. Facilitate emergency outage and plant shutdown management, provide recommendations, and generate required progress reports.
Qualifications
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in Engineering.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
