Piping Engineer

Job Purpose: Provide piping and valves engineering support within a major projects environment, ensuring all engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and approved project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform piping and valves engineering activities in line with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved variations
  • Resolve engineering issues and coordinate closely with project execution teams
  • Support development and updates of engineering policies, procedures, and standards
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Provide technical recommendations and support complex engineering tasks
  • Ensure compliance with company project management systems and engineering processes
  • Monitor FEED and EPC contractors across all project phases
  • Support construction activities to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to multidisciplinary coordination
Minimum Requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in piping engineering within the oil & gas industry
  • At least 3 years’ experience within a project management or project engineering environment
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of international piping standards and specifications
  • Experience working with FEED and EPC contractors
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
