Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Pipeyard Manager, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Ensure yard utilisation is optimised
Report on KPI as advised and agreed with management team
Ensure customer expectations are met
Operate the yards in line with agreed company customer operating procedures
Oversee and monitor subcontractors such as forklifts and wood suppliers etc.
Manage and oversee yard operations in Aberdeen
Health and Safety within all yard areas
Manage the Yard Specialist and Planning and logistics coordinator and has overall responsibility for all yard staff and personnel issues.
Optimise labour and third party usage within the yard operations
Develop and deliver the yard quality plan
Manage training and skills matrix of yard operation teams and ensure that all certificates are validated and renewed
Assumes P&L cost responsibility for yard functions
Support Operations Manager where required.

Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience working in a Supervisory role
OCTG experience is essential
Ability to challenge in a positive manner
In-depth knowledge of IT packages i.e. Microsoft office etc.
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills, solution orientated
Driven to achieve results
Ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives
Commitment to providing the highest level of support and quality
Ability to demonstrate exceptional planning skills
