Pharmacy Fulfillment Associate

Here at Orion Group, we are looking for a talented Pharmaceutical fulfillment associate who is looking for the chance to grow with our multinational pharmaceutical manufacturing client.
The main purpose of the Pharmaceutical Fulfillment associate is to assist the lead pharmacist in the activities associated with fulfillment of prescription orders. The technician will assist the team in day to day activities of picking, labeling, packing and shipping orders.
$22.62/HR
1 Year initial contract
There are two first shift work schedules available to work.
Group #1, Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm.
Group #2, Monday – Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM.
(Overtime is not mandatory but is highly encouraged)
onsite in North Chicago, IL
Daily Tasks include:
  • Labeling individual syringes/vials with patient numbers and placing into individual bags/cartons.
  • Placing tablets or capsules into bottles and labeling the bottle with individual patient numbers.
  • Small kit assembly, such as; placing IV bags and syringes into small cartons and labeling with individual patient numbers.
  • Labeling bottles, syringes, cards, and cartons.
  • Packing containers into corrugate.
  • Filling bottles and blisters using semi-automatic equipment.
  • Performing quality checks of documentation, drug product, and commodities.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, and sanitizing workstations.
  • Lifting 30 lbs boxes for shipment
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within healthcare setting- such as retail pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or Medical assistant.
  • 1-2 years experience in a pharmacy setting handling syringes, vials, or needles.
  • Adept with using computer systems to enter prescription data or quality check documentation.
  • Able to be on one's feet throughout entirety of shift and able to lift 30lbs boxes without issue.
