About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Petroleum & Corporate Solutions Performance Specialist to join our Digital Business Solutions (DBS) team in Doha, Qatar. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and advancing a large and complex portfolio of Petroleum & Corporate applicationsāensuring alignment with business goals and digital strategies.
The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact between DBS and key business partners across Petroleum and Corporate domains, overseeing over 200+ applications used by 2,000+ users, and coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and license managers.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Petroleum & Corporate Solutions Performance Specialist to join our Digital Business Solutions (DBS) team in Doha, Qatar. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and advancing a large and complex portfolio of Petroleum & Corporate applicationsāensuring alignment with business goals and digital strategies.
The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact between DBS and key business partners across Petroleum and Corporate domains, overseeing over 200+ applications used by 2,000+ users, and coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and license managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Govern and optimize the Petroleum & Corporate applications portfolio, ensuring performance, relevance, and alignment with business needs.
- Lead efforts in license management and optimization, tracking usage, compliance, and renewal schedules across 100+ vendors.
- Collaborate with business leads across subsurface, surface, and corporate domains to define strategy, drive application rationalization, and roadmap initiatives.
- Oversee the technical landscape, including 4 license servers and 2 core servers hosting 56 critical applications.
- Maintain and evolve the Petroleum & Corporate Solutions Architecture and application CMDB.
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance and enforce internal Information Security Policy requirements.
- Support technical projects, lead cost-efficiency programs, and contribute to budget planning and forecasting.
- You have a Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- You bring prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with work specifically in application portfolio management or performance governance.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of license management frameworks, optimization tools, and application governance best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skillsāable to bridge technical and business worlds with confidence.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
- Expertise in tools and practices related to license optimization and performance monitoring.
- Strong understanding of petroleum operations, from Geoscience to Drilling, HR, Legal, HSEQ, and other corporate services.
- Demonstrated success in cost optimization and digital transformation within Oil & Gas environments.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
