Position - P2P Support Manager

Base Location: Reading

About the Role:

The Client are setting up a new Procurement team and implementing a new ERP system in Workday. This is an opportunity to play an integral role from the start of the team being built and influence the way it moves forward.

The Procurement Team are responsible for helping the business to procure services and materials in a timely and cost-effective way.

Requirements:

* Procurement experience in a similar industry preferred with experience of ERP procurement systems are essential (Workday desirable). Demonstrable experience of leading / managing small teams, detailed knowledge of Company procurement policy and procedures.

* Ability to define and deliver solutions to meet business challenges with knowledge of Procurement system processes.

* Numerate with highly developed drafting and writing skills.

* Stakeholder Focused, Influencing, Strategic thinking, Tactical management.

* Confidence to challenge the norm and think creatively.

* Self-motivated, resilient along with good organisational skills

* Works independently, target focused and result driven, strong ability to bring about change, energetic and driven taking a hands-on approach.

* Develops an atmosphere of confidence, respect, and trust, acts as a role model within the team, strong service and customer orientation.

* Delivers on tasks effectively, produces high quality outputs in a timely fashion & builds relationship across all levels of the organisation, as well as externally.

* Process skills; Business Stakeholder Management, Benchmarking, Performance Metrics, Cost & Value Efficiencies, Internal Demand Reviews, Risk Management, Evaluation and analysis, Continuous Improvement

* Management and prioritisation of tasks for self and team to ensure deadlines and objectives are achieved.
