Orion Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Support II professional to provide critical operational and administrative support to departmental and division-wide projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of submission-related activities and supporting cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing project tracking, scheduling, documentation, and database activities while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of work products. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and thrives under minimal supervision.

Orion Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Support II professional to provide critical operational and administrative support to departmental and division-wide projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of submission-related activities and supporting cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing project tracking, scheduling, documentation, and database activities while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of work products. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and thrives under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to departmental and division-wide projects.
- Track project information, maintain databases, and generate progress and performance reports.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and deliverables to support submission timelines.
- Conduct research, document preparation, and follow-through activities for internal teams.
- Support document quality checks, importation, and management within electronic submission systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment, accuracy, and compliance of documentation and deliverables.
- Proactive work ethic – consistently delivers accurate and timely results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills – strong verbal and written ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail – ensures high levels of accuracy and consistency across all tasks.
- Organizational excellence – able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Technical proficiency – experience with relevant software systems, document workflows, scientific terminology, and electronic submissions tools highly preferred.
- Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor of Science degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience (2+ years preferred) in a regulated or pharmaceutical environment.
- Prior experience supporting the preparation of submission documents or regulatory operations is a strong plus.
